Get Involved

Three ways in. Pick yours.

You don't have to be a coach, or a principal, or wealthy to help. Whichever role fits you, we've made the path in as short as we can.

Path 01 · Students

Coach a clinic.

High schoolers: lead clinics, mentor kids, earn service hours. Zero coaching experience required, we train you. If you played the sport as a kid, that's more than enough. Weekly time commitment, real responsibility, and a résumé line that actually means something.

Path 02 · Schools

Bring RUSF to your school.

Principals and after-school coordinators: if your school has kids who'd benefit from free basketball or soccer and time in the schedule to run it, we should talk. Zero cost, easy implementation, we bring the coaches and the equipment. Reach out and we'll set up a call.

Path 03 · Supporters

Back the mission.

Community, parents, alumni: donate to fund equipment and expansion, or drop off used gear our Collections team can redistribute. Every dollar goes directly to programming: no admin overhead, no salaries.

Volunteer Expectations

What we ask of coaches

01 / Reliability

Show up.

Kids notice which adults keep their word. If you commit to a clinic, be there. Give us notice if life happens.

02 / Patience

Teach at their pace.

Some kids will pick up dribbling in a session. Some won't. Both are fine. Keep it fun, keep it encouraging.

03 / Safety

Follow the protocols.

Onboarding covers first-aid awareness, group management, and the do's and don'ts. Nothing scary — just standard.

04 / Curiosity

Ask us anything.

Never coached before? Not sure how to explain a pivot? Ask. Every board member coached their first clinic once too.
